Edu-Films had the privilege of working with the Hauppauge Hometown Heroes Committee on a powerful video honoring those who lost their lives on 9/11. A day that will live in our hearts and minds forever. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

This video honors not only the victims but also the courageous men and women who gave their lives to save others. The Hauppauge community is home to many dedicated first responders, firefighters, and police officers, including several in the NYPD. We are grateful for their service and the sacrifices they make every day to keep us safe.

In the aftermath of 9/11, this country came together like never before, united in strength and resilience. Hauppauge’s Hometown Heroes Committee continues to celebrate our local heroes throughout the school year. We are honored to have been a part of this meaningful project. ❤️

A pilgrimage is a journey, often into an unknown or foreign place, where a person goes in search of new or expanded meaning about their self, others, nature, or a higher good through the experience. It can lead to a personal transformation, after which the pilgrim returns to their daily life.

Just recently took a week to reset and relax, now we’re back and ready to hit the ground running! Working on some great projects with a team that knocks it out of the park for all our clients.

High Tide Media had the pleasure of partnering with The Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe this past year. Last week, their Annual Fundraising Gala honored the outstanding achievement of three men inspired by the life and work of Nikola Tesla: Sammy Chu of , Chad Bouton of , and Yacov Shamash of . High Tide Media’s role in this event was to produce five films with tributes to the honorees and presentations on the future of the Tesla Center. We documented this event with photography and video while live streaming to those who couldn’t attend via YouTube. We’re excited for our continued relationship with The Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe and look forward to future projects.

As many of you know, our dear friend Adina has been fighting for her life for the past four years. From an initial stage 2 breast cancer diagnosis, double mastectomy, chemotherapy and 5 additional surgeries, to being in remission and then being diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, she has bravely confronted this disease head-on, becoming an advocate for not only herself but the worldwide community of women and men who are diagnosed with MBC everyday. Through all of the appointments, treatments, procedures, and side effects, she has remained a pillar of strength in the lives of everyone around her: her two sons, Luca and Lorenzo, her husband, Matt, her family, her friends, her couples whose weddings she has planned and coordinated, her local community and every single person who has been or will be diagnosed with MBC in their lifetime. Through regular updates on social media, as well as appearances on television, blog posts and write-ups, she has given us all a window into a world that so many of us previously knew little to nothing about. In Adina’s own words: “I fight. I scream. I educate. I share my personal and intimate details to raise awareness of this life I did not choose.”

Adina, Matt, Luca and Lorenzo need our support now more than ever so that they can focus on the only thing that matters right now, and that’s being present and being together for the time Adina has left. Please click below to learn more and to donate.
