These types of shots where I can be really far away, zoom in but still get the wide effect 😍 Finally feeling the positive affects of purchasing a 70-200mm (last year), which I barely used. It’s hard to break away from my usual go-to lens set up. My comfort zones have always been a 35 and 85.

Wanted to take a moment to share some highlights from last weekends wedding at Stratton Mountain. What. A. Day.
Couple, gorgeous. Florals, insane. Coordinator, kicked ass. Photography, crushed it.
It was hectic, timelines ran behind, but it was still oh so good.

I also want to give my guy a shoutout because he absolutely slayed. I wish we could be a legit team and shoot every wedding together. The black and whites are his shots. I bring the modern vibes, he brings the old school finesse.

Jaime & John ✨

What a fun and unique wedding that pushed me out of my comfort zone a bit with the theater ceremony. Jaime grew up being big into theater and I absolutely loved her vision.

I also adored their origami flowers, yellow tablecloths and whole vibe. I especially loved when John played the violin as Jaime walked down the aisle.

Couldn’t have had a more perfect engagement session with Olivia and Chris. Even though we were cut short because of a storm rolling in. At first it was “let’s shoot in the rain” to “this isn’t the rain we shoot in” 😅 My whole drive back home I was followed by a lightning show that was a bit scary (and beautiful).

These two are getting married at Stratton Mountain Resort this weekend and I am so excited as I have never been!

But can I also use this as marketing for a von Trapp Family Lodge & Resort wedding?? I’m dying to have a wedding here!!

Kaylee & Matthew ✨

These two had a very intimate day, albeit very rainy and foggy, but it gave us the moody vibes I absolutely love.

Kaylee got ready at The Inn at Burklyn which is such a stunning location inside and out. I could photograph there all day long. The thing I love the most about these smaller wedding days and is the time I get to spend on couple’s portraits. We got such a variety of fun and intimate photos. It was so hard to pick out which photos to share, but alas here is a very small snippet into their day 🫶

Want a truth bomb? Only photographers will understand….I had sent in one of my cameras to be repaired and when I got it back I had forgotten to check/change my file settings. Shot half this wedding in jpeg. IYKYK. But, ya girl knows her white balance and it turned out fine, couldn’t even really tell the difference (well, I can but regular, non photogs would never). Can you guess which ones??
