Here's a couple from last week. What looks like mist in the first photo is snow and sand picked up by gale-force winds coming in off the lake. It was difficult to stand still to get a good picture. The second is my rendition of the South Pier Ice Monster.

While I was waiting for the Aurora to strengthen last Wednesday, I wanted to see what the trees and Lighthouse would look like under the moon's illumination. It provides a different perspective. Taken around 7:00 PM.

Here's a short time-lapse video of Wednesday's Aurora. At about 20 seconds, it really got going. The intense green areas were visible to the naked eye. This video spans from 10:00 to 10:35 at Second Street Beach in St. Joseph.
