Zoe's senior session felt a bit like a tour of St. Joe. Starting out the day we didn't really know where all we would end up, so we made decisions on the fly. I think all told we hit up about five different spots! Zoe was a such a joy to photograph!

If you know my family you probably know that we tend to frequent the Buffalo River area in northwest Arkansas. Usually when we visit we spend time hiking and maybe finding a spot on the river to swim in and skip rocks at. This year we were finally able to float the river. Initially our plan was to rent a canoe and a kayak, with Anna our oldest taking the kayak. I wasn't super comfortable with that idea, so we ended up switching to two canoes with Miles and I each taking one girl with us. It had been quite a while since I had been in the back of a canoe, but somehow Anna and I managed to stay upright!

It was a last minute decision for Anna to play soccer this year. She had never played before, and while it took her a bit to get the hang of it, she was never afraid to hustle! By the end of the season she was really enjoying it and had a general concept of what she was supposed to do while playing.

For Chloe's birthday we took a trip down to Oak Park Mall to visit a few stores we don't have in town. She went with more money in hand than she's probably ever had. She didn't always make the most sound financial decisions that day, but one decision she did make was to buy friendship necklaces for herself and her sister!

We're still working on teaching this gal to drive. It's been weird to be traveling in the backseat again, but it does give me the chance to stick a camera out of the window while on the parkway to document the process!
