Another image from the 12th. This one was captured once the Aurora Started to calm him slightly. So the colors were less vibrant and red. Also captured Northwest of St. Micheal Minnesota During my unplanned Aurora shoot. Love driving five minutes from my front door and capturing images like this.

The aurora in St. Micheal, Minnesota on November 12th. Really hard to believe the Aurora was this visible on the edge of St. Micheal Minnesota. It briefly peaked to a level eight storm. Which is amazing!

Same horse with a different attitude! This image was captured inside the trotting facility, at least that’s what I’m calling the building… Practice arena? Big sand beach indoors for horses? Regardless, it was captured using speed lights to stop action and drop the background. You can see the fitness level of this horse in this image! It is a retired thoroughbred and it’s still looking strong.

I found myself at a beautiful country home to do an equestrian photo shoot. It was located at the end of a maintenance maintenance road that separated the property from a lakeside view This shot was captured on the road that leading to a sandy beach area. It was as secluded and peaceful as it appears.

These flowers were just perfect! After two days of looking at them on our kitchen table, I could not resist and had to set up my lights and photograph them. Outstanding!
