I’ve been surrounded by pregnancy and birth for well over a decade. It’s literally my job—I get to spend my work time yapping with expectant moms, I’ve been in multiple delivery rooms, countless hospital visits to meet hours-old babies, hundreds of newborns in my arms—-I’ve watched SO many families grow over the last 14 years that I’ve honestly lost track in only the best way imaginable. But there was something in the moment that Sara asked about capturing this that broke me. Perhaps because I’ve known her for years, in a far different capacity than “mom life” —and I’ve watched as she’s so selflessly and bravely shared her journey with her pregnancies and losses despite how utterly heart broken she was. But when I tell you I sobbed, I mean it in the most literal way. I’ve never been happier for someone in my life 🥹 and I’m so honored I got to help capture this little moment in time….and I cannot wait to snuggle this little bug when he gets here ❤️
