Happy Pride Month to all ππ»ππ€
(This upcoming message has NOTHING to do with the couple in the photos/ their dynamic/ just my feelings as a bisexual woman and I took these photos lol)
As a bisexual woman marrying a man, sometimes it's hard to celebrate or tolerate the sideways stares of those who don't feel my "q***rness" is "enough" to be celebrated. No, my relationship itself doesn't face scrutiny, but I am still q***r. Being bisexual is more than just a phase/ a trend/ a moment. I'm proud with the feelings I struggled with and overcame, I'm proud to have accepted myself to be loud and I'm proud to support ALL people, including women in heterosexual passing relationships. I didn't lose my q***rness by falling in love with a man. Being Bi is real and so is the culture of bi erasure. and no I don't need to give anyone a rapsheet of the women I've been with to qualify.
Happy Pride to all my babes on straight passing relationships who are still gay as hell π₯°ππππ»
