Fun fact
Im A super private person… like sometimes to the point of being unhealthy (if that’s a thing).

How do I possibly live in a life of being on the brink of another teenager?!?!?
Also with all the parenting advice people love to give away freely, why did no one ever explain the feelings of overwhelming joy and sadness parenting brings. Feeling those two emotions so deeply at the same time is wild and should be talked about much more often

One thing I’ve learned as the parenting years fly by is that there is always going to be a last.
Last diaper
Last car seat
Last lap snuggle
Last bed time story
Last holding hands to cross the street
Last house full of your kids friends for a birthday porty
For all my newer parent followers
Be intentional it taking these little things
The things that seem small or everyday
The things that just happen without thought day after day, year after year .

Make the malts extra special for the teenager and her friends because you just never know, it might be the last friend party they have in your house.
Of course I hope not and all the friends are welcome as long as I’m able.

Remember to take in , be present and cherish it all
