Christina Louise Photography My family has always called me the "memory keeper", always yearning to capture the raw moments of our unconditional and crazy love behind my camera.

Not just a simple smile, but the raw emotions behind a tear jerking grin, that can only be remembered through film.

One day, this version of your family will only exist in photographs.

Your toddler won’t always reach for your hand.

The gap in their smile will fill in. They’ll stop asking to be carried. One day they’ll be too big to fit perfectly on your hip, even though you’ll still wish they did.

It’s funny how we always think we have more time.

More time to schedule the photos.
More time to get everyone together.
More time until they’re “really” grown.

But somehow every year, summer turns into fall in the blink of an eye… and another season has quietly become a memory.

The beautiful thing about photographs isn’t that they stop time.

It’s that years from now, they’ll let you step back into it.

Hold your baby’s tiny hand again.
Hear the laughter.
Remember exactly what this season felt like.

If documenting your family has been on your heart, I’d keep an eye on my page over the next week or two.

I have something I’ve been looking forward to sharing with you.

There’s something about maternity sessions that pulls at my heart every single time.

Maybe it’s because these chapters are so fleeting. One day you’re counting kicks and dreaming up names, and before you know it, you’re holding your baby in your arms and this version of your story is already gone.

Lately, so many of my friends have been stepping into motherhood, and it has been such a gift to witness and document these moments for them. Watching sweet Geryn bloom as she awaits baby Wyatt David felt like capturing a chapter that deserves to be remembered forever… the anticipation, the excitement, the quiet moments before everything changes.

These are the photographs I know will mean even more years from now. The ones that bring you right back to the feeling.

If you’re expecting a September or October baby, now is the perfect time to start planning your maternity session. I’d be honored to help tell your story and preserve this beautiful season before it slips away.

The photos you’ll treasure most aren’t the posed ones.

They’re the morning hair. The death-grip on your finger. The 3am feeding in the quiet glow. The everyday t-shirt they basically lived in.

The ordinary stuff feels too small to photograph in the moment, but it’s exactly what changes the fastest, and exactly what you’ll ache to see again in ten years.

So here’s your reminder: you don’t need all ten.
Just start with one today.

And don’t forget #10. Get in the frame as you are right now. Not when you’ve lost the weight or fixed your hair. Your kids won’t remember the messy bun. They’ll just remember that you were there.

Swipe through, save this for later, and send it to a mama who needs the nudge. 🫶🏻

Which one are you grabbing first? Tell me below.

I think one of the most bittersweet parts of motherhood is realizing you’re living through moments you’ll someday miss.

Not the big milestones.

The ordinary ones.

The way they reach for your hand.
The sound of their little voice.
The bedtime routine you’ve done a thousand times.
The way they still fit perfectly in your arms.

As a photographer, I often hear moms say they wish they could freeze time. The truth is, none of us can.

But we can preserve pieces of it.

Not because every moment is perfect, but because these fleeting chapters deserve to be remembered.

If you’re in the thick of motherhood right now, I hope this carousel reminds you of something important:

The days may feel long, but these years really are short.

There are some families who start as clients… and somewhere along the way become friends. 🤍

As I’m currently sorting through photos from Zoe and Kevin’s maternity session as they prepare to welcome baby brother, I found myself reminiscing about all the moments we’ve captured together over the years.

From documenting Freya’s milestones and family adventures to creating this whimsical fairy-tale session tucked beneath the trees, I’ve had the privilege of watching their story unfold chapter by chapter.

This session felt like stepping into an enchanted forest. Flower crowns, fairy wings, golden light filtering through the trees, and a little girl completely lost in the magic of childhood. But what I’ll always remember most aren’t the props or the pretty details. It’s the way Freya held onto her mama’s dress, the giggles we shared, and the love that filled every frame.

One of my favorite things about this job isn’t just delivering beautiful photographs. It’s getting to grow alongside families, celebrating their milestones, watching their children grow, and building friendships that extend far beyond the camera.

Because one day, Freya will outgrow the fairy wings.

But she’ll always have these memories.

And now, as I prepare to meet and photograph her baby brother, I’m reminded just how grateful I am when families continue to trust me with their story, year after year.

Almost 2 years ago, I was wandering through this same park with Aria and her family as we celebrated her first birthday.

This week, I found myself back here again, watching her run around as the sweetest big sister while we celebrated Eloise turning six months old.

Eloise even wore the same little bonnet her sister wore at her own milestone session, and suddenly I was reminded just how quickly these chapters pass.

One of the greatest gifts of this job is getting to watch families grow. To meet babies before they’re born, photograph their first days earthside, celebrate their milestones, and then watch them become big sisters, big brothers, and little personalities all their own.

Somewhere along the way, clients become friends, and friends start to feel like family.

I don’t take it lightly when a family trusts me to document their story year after year. It is one of the greatest honors of my life.

And this is exactly why milestone sessions matter. Because one day, these tiny details, the bonnets, the baby rolls, the way they looked at each other, will be the memories you never want to forget.

Thank you, sweet friends, for letting me grow with your family. 🤍

If you’ve been thinking about documenting your little one’s first year, I’d love to help you preserve these fleeting chapters before they become memories.

Last night, I was on the phone with one of my sweetest mamas as we started planning baby Eloise’s six month milestone session… and somehow we found ourselves reminiscing about when big sister Aria was six months old.

And honestly… it stopped me in my tracks for a moment.

This family has trusted me from the very beginning. Two Grow With Me journeys. Milestones, newborn snuggles, growing bellies, sandy toes, sleepy babies turned wild little girls. Years of memories frozen in time.

While we were talking, she said something that I haven’t been able to stop thinking about…

“The girls won’t remember these moments… but one day we’ll be able to show them these photos, tell them these stories, and together relive how it all felt.”

And that is it right there.

That is exactly why I do this.

Because these photos are so much more than pretty pictures. They become proof of a childhood… proof of your motherhood… proof that all of these tiny little moments existed exactly as they were.

Grow With Me families will forever hold such a special place in my heart because I truly get the honor of growing alongside you. Watching your babies become little people is one of the greatest gifts this job has ever given me.

If you’re expecting and dreaming about documenting every little milestone during your baby’s first year, let’s chat about a Grow With Me package. I would love to tell your story from the very beginning 🤍

To the moms in every season of motherhood today...

To the brand new mamas celebrating their very first Mother’s Day.
To the moms rocking babies at 2am, chasing toddlers barefoot through the house, and carrying the weight of a hundred invisible things every single day.
To the grieving moms, hopeful moms, bonus moms, single moms, grandmothers, and the women who mother others so naturally through their love...

Happy Mother’s Day 💐

This year feels especially emotional because several of my close friends are celebrating their very first Mother’s Day, and watching the women I love step into motherhood has been such a beautiful thing to witness.

As someone who gets to document so many mothers through my lens, one thing I know for certain is this...

The way your babies look at you, love you, and reach for you is pure magic.

And one day, these photographs will become part of their childhood memories.
Proof of just how deeply they were loved.

Today we celebrate all of you ✨

The pink skies, the sleepy little eyes, the sailboats drifting quietly behind you… it all feels beautiful now. But one day, this won’t just be a pretty morning at the beach.

It’ll be their childhood.

The way your arms held them close. The way they fit perfectly against your chest at six months old. The way you looked at them like they were the whole ocean and sunrise wrapped into one tiny human.

Moms are the ones who usually reach out to book these sessions. Moms are the ones making sure the memories are preserved. But deep down, my real “why” has always been for the little ones in your arms.

Because one day, these photos become proof.

Proof of how deeply they were loved.
Proof of the way childhood felt.
Proof that long before they could remember it themselves, they were surrounded by warmth, tenderness, and home.

Your motherhood is their childhood… and these are the moments they’ll spend a lifetime coming back to 🤍
