Every gallery is edited by hand, one story at a time. Thank you for your patience while I give each one the attention it deserves.

I’ve also been catching up on text messages. The past couple of weeks have been incredibly busy, and my inbox has gotten a little flooded. If you’ve texted me recently and haven’t heard back yet, I’ll be working through those this weekend.

I’ve also seen the wedding inquiries that have come through my email. Thank you so much for reaching out. I’ll be responding to each of those this weekend as well.

There comes a point in every session where the posing fades into the background.

The sun has dipped low enough that everything softens. Shoes have been kicked off. The dress is no longer spotless. Hair has taken on a mind of its own. Nobody is wondering where to put their hands anymore.

That’s when I stop chasing photographs and start paying attention.

To the pauses between conversations.
The way someone instinctively reaches for the other.
The quiet moments that would have gone unnoticed if a camera hadn’t been there to witness them.

I’ve never wanted my work to feel like a collection of perfectly posed portraits.

I want it to feel like memory.

Like the warmth of the last light on your skin.
Like salt lingering in the air.
Like the sound of waves drowning out everything except the person standing in front of you.

Years from now, I don’t want these images to remind them of a photoshoot.

I want them to remember exactly how that evening felt.

Before the beaches fill and the fireworks begin, the coast is still. Sunrise has a way of stripping everything back. No distractions. No expectations. Just light, movement, and the people standing in front of you.

Ansley + Evan made the morning feel effortless, and that’s exactly how I hope these photographs will always feel.

I have absolutely no interest in perfect. Give me the wind. Give me the dress dragging through saltwater. Give me the moments that happen after the shot list is finished and everyone forgets there’s a camera in front of them. The photographs I come back to over and over again are never the polished ones.

They’re the frames that feel alive.

The ones that smell like the ocean. The ones that sound like waves breaking on shore. The ones that make you feel something before you even realize why.

This entire evening felt that way.

Raw around the edges. A little cinematic. The kind of story that doesn’t ask for attention but somehow steals it anyway.

A few more from Mackenzie and Rip on Saint Simons because I simply cannot keep these to myself. The light was doing its thing, the wind was cooperating for once, and everything came together exactly how I love it… a little cinematic, a little nostalgic, and completely effortless.

The soft light, the breeze coming off the water, the quiet pace of the evening, everything about this session felt calm and effortless from the second we started.

I love maternity sessions like this because they’re never really just about the bump. It’s the excitement, the anticipation, the little moments in between, and the way a family already makes space for someone they haven’t even met yet. Those are always the moments I find myself drawn to the most.

Nothing overly posed, nothing forced, just documenting this season exactly as it felt for them. The sweetest family, the dreamiest light, and the kind of session that reminded me how special these slower seasons of life really are.

The light, the veil, the way the entire evening unfolded around her felt unreal. Every frame had this softness and depth to it.

These bridals at South Eden felt timeless and romantic.
