Get ready for some festive fun! This year's Frosty Forest 5K Trail Run marked the final chapter for this beloved Roosevelt Forest Ultra Series race. It was a bittersweet last hurrah, but a fantastic opportunity to test out my new handheld action cameras and Bluetooth shutter.

FESTIVUS for the Rest of Us!

Sunday I found myself back in historic Salem MA with Second Wind Race Timing and 500 runners for the 13th running of the Festivus 5K for Autism.

This was the first race using all three devices (drone and two action cams). I'm quite pleased with how it came out.

Great race, great people, surprisingly adequate weather (for December 15th).

Flight authorization was obtained through LAANC.

Second Wind Race Timing was in the Town of Wrentham, Massachusetts on Thanksgiving morning with over 500 runners at the 7th annual Turkeywacker 5k Trail Run.

Rain, wind, and cooler temps did little to dissuade "Turkeywackers" from showing up to run/walk the scenic course through the William A. Rice Complex, ending in a festival area with music, donuts, and raffle prizes. Luckily the weather held off long enough to get the drone up in the air a few times before relying on the finish line camera!

The event began with the traditional reading of "An Ode to Turkeywackers", which I used for the soundtrack to this week's race recap. Enjoy!

A look back at the Narragansett Quarter Marathon! We teamed up with Second Wind Race Timing and True North Running Company to capture the finish of this unique 6.55-mile race. Starting and ending at the iconic Narragansett Brewery, runners enjoyed perfect weather and an awesome post-race vibe. This was the third and final race of the 2024 Narragansett Beer Races, and 90-year-old Larry stole the show as the final finisher!

Relive the excitement of the New Hampshire Humane Society's annual Be A Hero 5K in Moultonborough, NH! I had the pleasure of tagging along with my friends at Second Wind Race Timing, to film this family-friendly run/walk event at Castle in the Clouds, which featured a scenic course with trails, paved roads, and breathtaking views of the Lakes Region. The atmosphere was electric with amazing costumes, furry friends, , live post-race music from the Luciano Monzione Band, and so much more! Come along for the highlights and feel the inspiration of this incredible day supporting a great cause!

The First of my two races filmed this past weekend with my friends at Second Wind Race Timing! Friday evening, I made the trip to Salem, MA, for the Wicked Running Club's annual Miles Over the Moon four-miler.
