Light painting has brought so much more fun and creativity back into taking photos - there’s way less of an expectation for it to be “perfect” - instead you just get to experiment and see what you can create.

When I first got into photography I would go downtown at night to take pictures and learn how to shoot in low light - on my old crop sensor it was hard to actually get a good shot without any flash lol. Nighttime portraits will always be my favorite for this reason as it reminds me of a time where I didn’t feel as much pressure to be creative💙
