Ok but is this not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?? 😍 I love getting these personality images during your session! Typically baby will be awake and content for a portion of your time here and that’s when we do these images! They are always some of my favorites!

Sessions with me are a bit of posed images and a bit of lifestyle images but always with a beautiful outcome. ♥️

Oftentimes, the simplest image, is one of my favorites. 😍 how darling is he? Finishing up his gallery here soon!

The summer chaos is starting up over here…5 sessions this week, along with my Motherhood Minis this Saturday! (Btw, there is still one opening left if anyone still wants to sneak in! it’s going to be the sweetest day!)

Also, I only have about 4-5 weekend session dates left this year, so if you need a weekend date for either a Baby Milestone, Family, or Maternity session now is the time to get it booked.

Is there anything cuter than newborns dramatic full body hiccups!? 🤣🥹

When I was pregnant with my boys, they had hiccups allll the time. I even got to hear them on an ultrasound one time! ♥️

Did you know it’s perfectly ok to have an awake newborn during your session? Of course we try for those sleepy, snuggly images everyone loves… but babies are tiny humans with their own plans 😂

They need extra cuddles.
Extra feeds.
Little breaks.
And sometimes a hiccup break lol

A lot of times my favorite images from a sessions are actually when baby is wide awake. 👀

The stretches.
The little curious eyes.
The funny grumpy judging faces. 🤣 (you know the one.)

After photographing nearly 1000 newborns over the last 13 years, I can promise you this: your images will be just as beautiful no matter if they are completely zonked out, or they have fomo. Nothing fazes me anymore and I can work with it all. :)

I hear “I’m not sure how my toddler will do...” 😅 all the time.

Don’t forget I had twin toddler BOYS. 😅There’s not much I haven’t seen or experienced. Lol

As you probably know…toddlers are beautifully unpredictable little humans. Especially when there’s a new baby, missed naps, big feelings, and suddenly everyone wants them to sit still and smile nicely 😂

That’s exactly why I structure my newborn sessions the way I do. Sibling + family photos happen right at the beginning of the session while everyone is still fresh and happy. Then once we’re done with those, toddlers usually get to head out with dad, grandma, or another family member while I finish the rest of baby’s session in a calm, quiet studio.

It helps SO much.
Less pressure on your toddler.
Less overstimulation for baby.
And honestly… less stress for you too. 🤍

And if your toddler needs breaks, snacks, cuddles, or a little silliness to warm up? Totally normal. I’m a toddler mom too. I promise I’m never expecting “perfect.” I also send you a Newborn Welcome Guide with information on how to be prepare your toddler for your session. I always keep toddler approved snacks in my studio too :)

Motherhood Minis are officially open for booking! 🤍

Sooo I had planned to have full “in use” photos ready, but one of the main backdrop pieces is taking a little longer to arrive than I’d hoped. 🙄

That said, I didn’t want to keep you waiting because I know some of you may be planning to gift this for Mother’s Day 🤍 And if you do… mom will have almost two full weeks to plan outfits and get excited (which we all know she’ll want to do).

The cutest little bear 🧸

Every week I get multiple frantic emails of ”HELP! my baby is a month old and we didn’t think we wanted photos but we do now! When is the soonest you can get us in?!”

I promise I will do everything I can to help find a spot for you but there is never a guarantee. It completely depends on the week and month, and most of the time I do not have an opening last minute.

So if you are currently pregnant and even THINKING about booking, please PLEASE reach out! I know it’s easy to wait and think it’s Something you can do later on… but the reality is that you won’t have the time after baby comes to research and book a photographer. And even if you do, they may not have available for a bit and you might miss out on that tiny sleepy window after they are born.

Booking early ensures that your photographer has a spot for you, any communication about wants or desires from the session have already happened, outfits have been ordered, and all that’s left to do is wait for baby. ❤️

My goal is to make this process as easy as possible on new parents and booking early is key!

Twinsies!!!! 💕I seriously cannot get over the cuteness of these babies. Completely darling. Brought me back to memories of my own twins at this age 😩😭

Did you know that I’m always happy to include a few parent or family images in with your Milestone Session? Obviously most of the session will be focused on your baby, (or babies in this case ):) But I am happy to include a few family images too. Just let me know when you fill out your questionnaire!

Baby Milestone Sessions can be booked at any time within baby’s first year. Typically they are done around six months and a year, but you can truly schedule them anytime you find yourself thinking. “This is my favorite stage!” 🥹

These are now forever memories for this family. ❤️ Lets make sure your family has them too!
