I’m so excited and beyond grateful to share that I’ve been invited to become a permanent artist at Gunnison Gallery! 💜✨

Being part of my first show there, Celestial Colorado: From Summer Light to Cosmic Nights, has already been such a special experience, and now to have the opportunity to continue displaying my work in Anne’s beautiful gallery truly feels like a dream.

Thank you so much, Anne Michel, for believing in my photography, setting everything up so beautifully, and welcoming me into the Gunnison Gallery family. I’m so happy to be surrounded by such amazingly talented artists and to have my work displayed in such a warm and creative space.

I’m also so grateful for everyone who came out to support me, especially my little family and friends. It made the evening even more special. 💜

If you’re ever in Gunnison, I would love for you to stop by Gunnison Gallery and check it out. I’m so excited for this new chapter and can’t wait to bring in more work soon! ✨📷

The Milky Way putting on a quiet show over O’Haver Lake in Chaffee County, Colorado. ✨

There’s something so peaceful about watching the stars drift across the sky while their reflections dance on the water below. Nights like this are such a beautiful reminder of why I love getting out under Colorado’s dark skies. 🌌

Mirror of the Bells | Maroon Bells, Colorado 💜

I wanted to share a little update about my MS journey. I had 3 MRIs yesterday, and the results showed several new lesions since my last scans, including new lesions in my brain and spinal cord. One area also showed active inflammation.

I’m not going to lie, it’s been a lot to process emotionally, especially while already being on treatment. Seeing progression on paper is scary and discouraging, and lately I’ve been struggling more than I probably let on at times.

At the same time, I’m trying really hard to stay hopeful and keep moving forward one step at a time. I’ll be talking with my neurologist about what this means for my treatment and what the next steps may look like.

MS is such an invisible disease in so many ways, and some days are definitely harder than others. I’m really grateful for the love, support, and understanding from the people who have been there for me through all of this. 💜

I’m so excited to share that I’ll be the featured guest artist at Gunnison Gallery for First Friday Art Walk & Music on Friday, May 1 from 5–8 PM! 💜✨

My show, “Celestial Colorado: From Summer Light to Cosmic Nights,” is a collection of my Colorado summer landscapes and astrophotography. From vibrant mountain scenes and warm seasonal light to the Milky Way, aurora, eclipses, the moon, and deep space, this show celebrates the beauty and wonder of Colorado by day and night.

I’m so thankful to Gunnison Gallery for this wonderful opportunity and for welcoming my work into their beautiful gallery. There will also be jewelry and ceramic demos, live music, face painting, and a fun evening of art in downtown Gunnison.

I would love to see you there! 💜✨

Comet C/2025 R3 (PANSTARRS) ☄️✨
Captured from the San Luis Valley in Colorado with the Seestar S30 Pro and stacked from 38 10-second exposures. We were not able to see it with our own eyes, which makes it even more amazing that this much detail was pulled from the data.

❤️ From the Heart of the Rockies to the Heart Nebula ❤️
Captured from our front yard in Salida, Colorado under Bortle 5 skies over 2 nights. This image is made from 282 1-minute exposures, and I’m still amazed by what can be captured from home. 🔭🌌🤩

Orion Nebula captured from our backyard in Salida, Colorado using our smart telescope before this classic winter and early spring deep-sky target disappears for the season. 474 10-second exposures for a total of 1 hour 19 minutes of data, with the Moon more than 80% illuminated. Pretty happy with how this turned out considering the conditions. ✨🌌✨

Milky Way over O’Haver Lake, Colorado ✨

Lars shared his version from this outing too, and I love how different our images turned out. He took his with a 14mm lens, and I took mine with a 24mm. Same night, same sky, two different perspectives, and that’s one of the things I love most about going out together with our cameras. It’s so much fun sharing this love of photography with him and creating memories under the stars. 💜

Taken earlier today.
