There’s something so beautiful about getting to witness a love story come full circle….

I met Jordan and Evan years ago at a charity event for children, and we quickly became friends. They are truly two of the kindest people I know, and I’ve always loved the way they love each other.

So when they asked me to photograph their vow renewal in Telluride—the place where their story began—I couldn’t have been more excited or honored.

And this time, they came back with their two beautiful children. 🤍

Watching them return to such a meaningful place, now as a family of four, made the whole experience even sweeter. Their kids got to be there as their mom and dad chose each other all over again, and I couldn’t stop thinking about how special these photographs will be for them someday.

Jordan and Evan, I’m so grateful our paths crossed all those years ago and even more grateful I got to be there for this chapter. Thank you for trusting me with your beautiful memories.

To come back to where it all started, with the beautiful little family you created along the way… it really doesn’t get much sweeter than that.

Last fall, I found myself wandering the streets of Italy with a camera in my hands and a heart completely captivated by the beauty around me. As soon as I landed, I met Jess, an incredibly talented videographer, and what started as strangers exploring together quickly became a friendship I’ll always be grateful for. Together, we chased light through some of the most breathtaking places, and I fell completely in love with Venice.

This image was captured in front of one of the most incredible buildings in Venice—a place that felt very magical in person. It became even more meaningful because I had the honor of connecting with the designer behind Eden & Art Dresses EdenArtDresses | Style Your Client Shop , who so graciously helped bring my vision to life by creating this beautiful dress for me to photograph throughout Italy. It’s a memory I’ll treasure forever.

Photography has given me so much more than beautiful places to see. It’s given me friendships, unforgettable experiences, and opportunities I never could have imagined. I will never stop feeling grateful for where this journey has taken me.

If I’m being honest, though, sharing my work has been difficult. Since losing my dad, posting these moments just isn’t the same. He was always one of the first people to see my photos. We’d sit together and ask all about my trips, the people I met, and every little story behind the images. Lately when I hit “share,” there’s a quiet ache knowing he won’t be here to talk about it with me.

But I know he wants me to keep creating. To keep traveling. To keep telling love stories and finding beauty in this world.

So this one is for you, Dad. 🤍

It’s officially wedding week for these two, and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate the beginning of their forever in beautiful Cabo. 🤍

There’s something so special about witnessing two people choose each other, surrounded by the people they love most, in a place that feels like a dream. In just a few short days, they’ll promise forever, and I have the incredible honor of documenting every joyful tear, every quiet glance, every laugh, and every unforgettable moment along the way.

I’m counting down the days until I get to tell their love story through my lens. Cabo, here we come. Kylee Gardner Anthony Lemon

Also so excited I get to work with Ava Veater | Luxury Wedding + Portrait Photographer this week! Thank you for being a ride or die 🤘

There is something about Italy that slows time.

Maybe it’s the centuries-old streets that have witnessed countless love stories before ours. Maybe it’s the way the golden light spills across the canals of Venice or dances through the quiet corners of Florence. Or maybe it’s simply that love feels a little more timeless here.

The greatest privilege of my job isn’t traveling to beautiful places—it’s being invited into moments that will never exist again. Moments that, years from now, will become memories. And memories that, one day, will become family heirlooms.

Watching these two wander hand in hand through Venice and Florence reminded me that the most beautiful photographs aren’t created by a destination. They’re created by two people who choose each other, over and over again.

Love doesn’t need grand gestures to be extraordinary. Sometimes it’s found in the quiet glance that says, “I’m still choosing you.” In the laughter that echoes through ancient streets. In the gentle way two hands instinctively find one another. Those are the moments I chase.

Italy gave us breathtaking scenery, but these two gave it life.

To document a love story across some of the most beautiful places in the world is something I’ll never take for granted. Every destination is different, every couple is unique, but the heartbeat is always the same: love is timeless.

And if my photographs can preserve even a small piece of that feeling—for them, for their children, and one day for generations they’ll never meet—then I’ve done exactly what I was meant to do.

Forever grateful for this adventure through Venice and Florence, and for the beautiful souls who trusted me to tell their story.

Happy Father’s Day to the man who makes our world go around.

You teach our boys to be kind and gentle, while also being strong and brave. You show them the importance of hard work, integrity, compassion, and resilience. You remind them that true strength comes from having a soft heart, standing up for what’s right, and loving your family fiercely.

Watching you be their dad is one of my favorite parts of life. The way they look up to you, run to you, laugh with you, and learn from you is something special. We are grateful to have you.

Thank you for all the big things and the million little things you do daily. We love you more than words can say.

Happy Father’s Day.

Feeling blessed and grateful for what God has given me. Dad, I promise to make you proud.

Dear Dad,

My heart is broken, and I don’t know if it will ever be full again. I know that you knew how much I loved you, but the world needs to understand just how big you were. Everyone describes you as larger than life.

You’ve always been my first phone call. Any news I had—no matter how big or small, whether I was crying or laughing—you were always there to listen. You were my biggest cheerleader, proudly sharing every accomplishment, no matter how minor, with everyone you met, especially strangers. You were the proudest dad.

You taught me how to bait a hook, cast and reel, and even how to use my teeth instead of scissors to cut the line. I’ll never forget you teaching me to rub smelly jelly on me to help me catch more fish, or how we had to kiss a fish before we threw it back. or how we had to bait our own hook and take the fish off the hook. To always get back on my horse after I fell off and to never give up. i’m so happy that you didn’t believe in Band-Aids I like to think it’s why I’m tough.

Or how when I was little, you taught me to always sit with any kid who was alone at the lunch table. You’d always say, never to start a fight but to make sure to finish it. You were a lover and a fighter all in one—loyal, strong-willed, and probably the most stubborn person I’ve ever met.

You had a heart of gold, almost to a fault. I always felt the need to protect you because of your boundless generosity and kindness. I often worried about people taking advantage of you, but you never cared; you just kept loving deeply.

Every time I see a vintage car, I think of how cool I thought you were. People always waved at you, drawn to your infectious spirit. I remember every trip to the grocery store, at least three separate groups of people stopping us to talk to you and ask how you were doing.

You made friends everywhere—in Utah and beyond. To me, it felt like everyone knew you, and everyone was lucky to have you in their lives.

I never thought this day would come. I always believed you would find a way to outsmart death. Or that you were too stubborn to die.

Because….. one of the most meaningful days of your life deserves to be documented in a way where you are the MAIN CHARACTER— no background noise, just you and your loved one. I want to capture how you feel and how the whole world stops, when you walk into the room.
