I’ve always felt like every property should have at least a couple of twilight photos in its marketing library.

There’s just something about that soft evening sky, the lights glowing through the windows, and the overall warmth of a twilight image that makes a property feel especially inviting.

And honestly, you don’t need a full twilight shoot to get that look.

My virtual twilight images are created from daytime photos and professionally edited to keep everything looking natural and realistic. I pay close attention to the lighting, the sky, and all of the little details so the final image still feels like the property—just at its best.

They’re also quick to turn around and very affordable, which makes them an easy way to add a little more variety and personality to a photo gallery.

For me, twilight photos aren’t about making a property look like something it’s not. They’re about showing it in a different light—literally—and giving people another reason to stop and take a closer look.

Not to mention how attention-getting they are.

Virtual staging is one of my favorite options for new construction properties—especially when the space is beautiful but completely empty.

This brand-new community in Park City, Utah is a great example. Adding thoughtfully selected furniture and decor helps potential residents see the space as a home, not just an empty room.

My **top 3 reasons to add virtual staging** to your property photos:

1. **Help people visualize the space.** Empty rooms can be surprisingly difficult to understand online. Virtual staging gives viewers a better sense of scale, layout, and how the space can actually be used.

Property managers & multifamily marketers — what’s your biggest frustration when hiring a photographer? 👇

Years ago, when I was on the property management side of the industry, I learned pretty quickly that finding the right photographer wasn’t always easy.

For me, three things mattered most:

💰 Affordability — because marketing budgets are real.
⏱️ Quick turnaround — because waiting a week for photos can feel like forever.
📸 No copyright headaches — you should be able to use the images you paid for- and those photos should definitely be transferable, because why not?

Those frustrations played a big part in how I built Freebird Marketing & Photography.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how powerful it is to focus on something specific and then take the steps to make it happen.

At the beginning of this year, I set a goal for myself: **100 five-star reviews by the end of 2026.**

It may seem like a simple goal, but it’s something I’ve been really intentional about. I’ve made a point to ask my clients for reviews, but more importantly, I’ve been focused on making sure they have an experience that is actually worth a five-star review.

And now, I’m nearly half way to my goal
⭐⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

It’s honestly pretty cool to watch something that started as an idea on paper, slowly become a reality.

There’s a quote I love that says:

"Don't waste your time chasing butterflies. Mend your garden, and the butterflies will come"

I think about that a lot in business. Instead of constantly chasing the next thing, focus on building something good. Take care of your people. Do stellar work. Show up consistently. And eventually, the things you’re hoping for start showing up, too.

I’m really grateful for the clients who have helped me get here. Some have taken the time to leave a review, some have referred me to others, and so many have continued to bring me back to photograph their properties.

That repeat business and those kind words mean more to me than anyone realizes.

So…doing my best for my clients and steady progress is the focus.

And I’m curious — **what’s something you’re intentionally working toward right now?**
