Today on our drive up to Stanley, I was thinking the best people make you feel like an octopus(😝)—there’s that saying that you don’t have enough hands to do what you’re doing or balance what you’re balancing, so you wish you had 8 hands like an octopus.
I was thinking about the people I love and the connection we have, and it came to me that that’s my favorite type of connection with/way to love a person—the connection where at the end of the day we have each other’s backs no matter what. And where you really mean no matter what. The friends and family who are there for you come hell or high water. When you’re with them you can let your guard down, finally breath easy, and know that if you need help or support, they got you and you got them. Those people make you feel like you don’t have to handle what life throws at you all on your own.
This year on my birthday (my annual reflection apparently😝), I’m thinking about all the people that make it possible for me to do the things in life that I love...my photo business, take trips, have hobbies, take on a big personal project, anything I dream up to do—just live life everyday...they support me in doing all these things I love and let me do them without feeling like it’s all on my shoulders alone—who make me feel like I have 6 more hands to help me when I need them. Plus a shoulder to cry on when I need that too. I feel so much love for you all who love me and take care of me. I hope I love and take care of you too. 🤍🤍🤍 #24 🎈
(Just some of those people in these photos, but there are so many more❤️)
