Holy moly! Thank you all for dropping off so much film! It’s busy season and our small team is putting in the work. Our current turn around time is 5-7 week days due to high volume - keep it comin!

We teamed up with FUJIFILM X/GFX USA to get cameras into the hands of students at Storyfest 2026 at the University of Utah’s Marriott Library.

This was a celebration of storytelling brought to life by the youth of the Ute Indian Tribe, the Navajo Nation, and the Urban Indian Center of Salt Lake City. In collaboration with the University of Utah Undergrad Native Outreach and College Access, this camp created space for young voices to share powerful visual stories.

From learning lighting basics (shutter speed, ISO, aperture) to crafting their own narratives, these students showed up and made something special.

Last week, one of our team members, Carlos, visited John Carlisle’s photography class at Granger High School to teach students about portrait lighting and share his journey into photography.

Using a single flash and a black backdrop, students learned the basics of Rembrandt lighting, how light changes with distance, and how thoughtful lighting can transform a portrait.

These talented students helped create this year’s Burn Book-inspired yearbook, and we’re excited to have played a small part in helping set them up for success in future photography classes.

Thanks to John and his students for having us, we love supporting the next generation of photographers!
