Anniversary sessions might be one of my favorite types of sessions and always a good excuse to get dressed up all over again 🤍

There’s something so special about putting your wedding attire back on after the wedding day has passed without a timeline to follow, guests waiting, or anywhere you have to be next.

Just the two of you, a beautiful location, and time to slow down and actually enjoy it.

You can recreate a little bit of your wedding day, do the portraits you wish you had more time for, or make it completely different with a new location, bouquet, color palette, or look.

Your wedding photos don’t have to be the last time you get to feel like a bride. ✨

If you’re thinking about eloping at the Utah State Capitol, my biggest advice is to keep it simple and let the location do a lot of the work for you 🤍

You really don’t need a huge setup or a packed timeline here. Bring your favorite people, choose an outfit you feel amazing in (maybe even some fun shoes), and give yourself enough time to actually enjoy the day instead of rushing from one thing to the next.

And pleaseeee leave time after the ceremony to just walk around together, take photos, and soak it all in. Those slower moments usually end up being some of my favorite photos from the entire day.

Pro tip: the sun patches that act like spot lights are usually mid day!

If a big traditional wedding doesn’t feel like you, a Capitol elopement can be such a beautiful way to make the day feel special without overcomplicating it. 🥂

Kate and Dylan's wedding day at the Legacy Lodge in Park City 🤍🕊

Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they celebrated their marriage in the Park City mountains. Kate put her heart into planning this day and you can totally tell how intentional every single detail was. From the beautiful florals, attire, and guests experience the entire day was stunning.

As a Park City wedding photographer, these are the days I love documenting most. The mountain venues, the quiet seconds before the ceremony, hugs with friends after you walk back down the aisle, and the moments when you two forget the camera is even there.

Kate and Dylan, your Legacy Lodge wedding day was such a beautiful reminder that the best wedding days aren't necessarily the jam packed 8 hour timeline days but the relaxed slow settings that allow you to enjoy your day surrounded by the people who matter most to you.

Sarah and Julian's wedding day 🤍🦢🕊
Everyone flew in from Florida to celebrate and brought all of the east coast elegance with them! Black tie attire, beautiful florals, stunning details, and the kind of guest list where every person in the room felt like they truly belonged there.

The day started at Asher Adams for getting ready photos and a first look in their beautiful bridal suit, then everyone headed to the Utah state capitol building for the ceremony and portraits.

To end the night they planned a cake cutting and dinner for everyone back at the hotel and the entire day was a beautiful reminder that a micro wedding doesn’t mean less. It means having EXACTLY what you want for your wedding day. Keeping only the traditions that matter and planning a day that feels completely perfect and true to you.

Every single detail from this day was so intentional and beautiful and honestly just felt like them. From the stunning florals, the beautiful venue, the cake, the music, the sunshine, but more than anything the people. Taylor and Justin were surrounded by so much love, you could feel it in every single part of their day. The kind of love that shows up in happy tears and slips into every little moment in between and I'm so grateful I was there to witness it and document the day 🦢✨️
