I am a natural light photographer in the Salt Lake area of Utah. I use a combination of interactive invitations and suggestions to encourage natural emotions from my subjects, so the photos look and feel authentic--because they ARE :)

I use mostly natural light. I shoot all over the Salt Lake Valley, Bountiful, Layton, Provo, and Tooele. I am willing to travel. I am an outdoor portraiture photographer. I work with individuals, couples, families, kids, graduates, etc. I do weddings, events, headshots, and pretty much anything else you want me to do.

There is nothing quite as sweet as an afternoon stroll around the city that homes you with the people who love you. I am so honored to help document how that looks + feels for people. The meat of my approach lies in finding little ways to catch you by surprise, making room for the tiny jokes your kids tell you that make you laugh, and capturing the in-betweens. I've taken birthday photos for every one of this little one's birthdays for the last three years 😍 And the best part was getting the message that she has been asking to see them on repeat since she saw the ones in her unicorn cape 💪🏻 I think that means we nailed it 😂

These were taken out at the Great Saltair and the Salt Lake Marina. Our aim was super relaxed, true to real life, playful family photos that made that 4 year old shine ✨

I'm always down for an adventure out to some grand Utah landscape when it matches the client, but LOADS of people are City Folk (like me 😂) and just want something easy and that reflects how they spend time together. Picking an activity-led session is such a good way to capture photos that FEEL LIKE YOU. Your favorite bar, your frequent coffee shop, your favorite dessert after a date night -- it's all part of what makes your relationship special, and I get that! It is for me too!

These were taken with Cori Billings and Mack Chasse out at their favorite part of town by RubySnap Fresh Cookies and Fisher Brewing to celebrate their engagement and upcoming wedding! We got super relaxed, candid, playful photos of the two of them having a good time together doing things they always HAVE to do when they're in Salt Lake City. It was basically a date night with me tagging along telling them when to cuddle 😂🥰

Someone recently told me August is the Sunday of Summer. And I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. That means there's one last wave of Summer to gather all your favorite people, do all your favorite summertime things, and savor all the things you only get to do in Summer. When I was a kid that meant playing in the yard, riding bikes, eating messy food, and being around my siblings and cousins waaaay more than usual!

And maybe that's the best time to get one more family photo -- one that celebrates the season, and the season of life ❤️☀️

I relate to finding that person who makes you feel like your best self a little later in life 💕 I find myself jumping right in there with the guests and tearing up when it's so obvious two people are making each other happy. That's why I say yes to documenting weddings like these. They feel like my own people and the day is relaxed, paced, and go-with-the-flow.

It's such a privilege to take photos for special moments in people's lives 💕 These two will be getting married soon and wanted to take photos together in a place they spend a lot of time, doing things together they already love. We walked by the pond, we talked, our butts got a little wet sitting on the freshly mowed grass, and the shade from the 100 year old cottonwoods gave us relief from the summer sun. All the regular moments together were savored, just in case they were missed the other 50 times they happened before.

July and August are my personal favorite months to take photos at the tippity tops of our beautiful mountains 🤩 The soft, earthy colors, sagey greens, and pale blues mesh with the golden sun and bouts of wind in this way that feels oh so dreamy. When I spend time with families up there, we really can't help exploring, playing, and laughing without even thinking about it.
