Bio

Tyler MacLeod, the person behind MAC Arts + Design, got his start in art at an early age. He was already thinking outside the box and coloring outside the lines when he took a green crayon to the walls in kindergarten. Now instead of getting 'time out', he gets recognition. Regular schoolwork never really got his attention until he took a photography class in his freshman year. That was the b

eginning of his love affair with the camera. Film, solutions, dark rooms, light, exposure, composition, etc., all intrigued him. That led to studying computer-based design and sciences in college which led to securing a profession a a graphic designer at Costco. Some of his work can be found in the Costco Connection, Costco.com, Noble House Magazine and Coho Restaurant promotions. Currently, Tyler is a freelance photographer and graphic designer. His photography includes weddings, family portraits, products, landscape and real estate. He is also finding great satisfaction in working with metal and wood creating furniture, frames, light fixtures and structures. The 'kindergarten Tyler' is still operating outside the lines and boxes and couldn't be happier. Hope you enjoy the work of beautiful mind.

These sunsets lately are nuts! Here’s one from a couple weeks ago up in Sammamish. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to shoot, let alone edit/design/create s**t - I’m just getting dialed in and settled into my new joint. I’m like 92% there. BTW, does anybody have a new/like-new toaster they don’t want? I’m totes toasterless.

Story time: Rewind a few years, I was at a Walgreens at like 11:30pm looking for cough drops. I looked and felt like absolute death, but next to me was this really cute/hot couple. “OK, I don’t know you guys, and I realize I look, sound and feel like hot garbage, but you two make such a cute couple, I had to say something.” They were so genuine and sweet! Turns out they were semi-new to the area and recently engaged and best part - looking for a photographer! One thing lead to another, we met up for coffee a few times, had a wonderful engagement shoot and here are some photos from their beautiful wedding. One-hundred percent pure ❤️
