You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.

Why did you spill the coffee?

"Because someone bumped into me!!!"

Wrong answer.

You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup.

Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.

Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.

Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled.

So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"

When life gets tough, what spills over?

Joy, gratitude, peace and humility?

Anger, bitterness, victim mentality and quitting tendencies?

Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.

Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation, resilience, positivity; and kindness, gentleness and love for others.

Two weeks ago I made a very hard decision to give my resignation at my full time job as the photographer for CVPAWS and the City of San Angelo Animal Services/Shelter and to try to put my Blessed with Grace business first and see where it goes. I also made another decision to have Blessed with Grace items not only for sale in The Hampton's Mercantile in San Angelo, but to also have items in Blue Oak Trading Company in Kerrville too. I had been procrastinating on my online website for a while now and with no free time in the future, I figured it was best to jump in the deep end and make BWG my number one priority. The website is still in the works, but you can already shop items listed, register for my Craft with Laughs Classes coming up and see my schedule of events I will be attending. I will still be volunteering for CVPAWS as my love for the animals has not changed and also doing Photography as part time. So, please cross your fingers and toes for me and wish me 🍀 on this new journey!

If you are looking for one the San Angelo Animal Shelter has some up for adoption! They are all females and are $50 to adopt. Come see us at the Animal Shelter (3142 US HWY 67 N) M-F 10am to 6pm, call 325-657-4224 or go online to fill out an application on www.cvpaws.org.
