My brother, Sammy, took Dad to Italianni's and they had the angel hair pomodoro.

Yesterday, my brother brought Dad to visit Mom's vault at Sanctuarium.

Thinking of Dad and how he loved dimsum Golden Wok. He loved visiting Saturdays and Sundays to see those carts going around.

We were there the Sunday before he left for Manila. We were able to sit at Jimmy's section. Seeing Jimmy is like being at Cheers, where you feel like home. We love seeing him and he loves serving us.

For those looking for the elusive beef tendons, they had them on that Sunday. Look for Jimmy and he'll hook you up!

Late post: Celebrating Sallie's birthday yesterday Alamo Biscuit Co. and Panaderia - Medical Center for brunch. She's never been. She's a dear Alpha Chi Omega sorority sister friend.

We each had a mimosa - hers was raspberry and mine was pineapple. Frankie was an awesome server. We told him we're celebrating Sallie's birthday so there was a free shot! Also, a free birthday pastry. She chose the cinnamon roll. For brunch Sallie had the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. I had the barbacoa bene. I had to take home one of them.

It was great catching up with fantastic company. FYI...Alamo Biscuit also has the Riverwalk location!

Dad, big brother and sister-in-love all safely in Manila! Praise God!

Family time before big brother, sister-in-love, and Dad head to Manila via Taiwan. My nephew, Timmy, cooked us a scrumptious meal of wings, mushroom with abalone, veggies, and chicken and mushroom congee. Nothing like a good home-cooked meal!

My sister-in-love got us these matching outfits for the photo. Missing my other nephew, Sean, who is in Singapore. Last time we were all together was last summer in Las Vegas. Time flies too quickly!

First time trying Bojangles’ Texas! Stopped in Seguin location on our way to Houston. Dad had the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese with mac and cheese. I had the kid's meal chicken tenders with cole slaw. Hubby had the chicken sandwich deluxe with dirty rice. The chicken tenders were pretty big compared to Chick-fil-A. Overall, great first time try. Would recommend!

Last dinner in San Antonio with Dad for a while. We thought to take him to Sari Sari San Antonio 🇵🇭 for dinner. Dad had his usual pandan drink and Kare-kare (oxtail). We had the lumpia as appetizer. Hubby and I shared the whole bangus/milkfish. We ended the meal, sharing Halo Halo. Today, it was topped with pandan ice cream instead of the usual ube. All very good!
