Great few days at Tampa Convention Center () for Surge event! Learned quite a bit and feel so inspired by speakers like David Green, Founder & CEO of Hobby Lobby, Anne Beiler, Founder of Auntie Anne's, Comedian Michael Jr., Willie Robertson of Duck Dynasty, and John Maxwell, author and motivational speaker on leadership.

Saw familiar faces and made new friends!

Today, blessings were overflowing!

We headed to PF Chang's at The Quarry because I had rewards cash to use. We sat at the bar because happy hour was only served there.

I had the Crimson Tiger Long Island, Hubby had the Tokyo Mule, and Dad had Strawberry Lemonade. We ordered the Chicken Lettuce Wrap and Shrimp Dumplings from the happy hour menu. Linda was our kind and efficient bartender/server. She saw Dad eyeing another person's Edamame and gave a complimentary Edamame to him. We then had the Egg Drop Soup and Orange Chicken.

I was telling Linda that Dad is 97 and recently had his birthday. She was so impressed. Unbeknownst to me, the gentleman to the left of Dad overheard me. He quietly paid for our food bill, something Dad did often before. We were so blessed from his kindness. On top of it, Linda served us complimentary banana egg rolls with vanilla ice cream (check out the video). We were stuffed and have leftovers!

Year 16! We've journeyed together this far and all honor and praise to God, who has carried us through. Thank you, David, for your patience and love. Can't wait to keep celebrating!

Great food and service at Blu Prime Steakhouse! Yummy cocktails, Crab Cake, Wedge Salad, Wagyu with Scallops, and Chilean Sea Bass. A tall chocolate cake for dessert! We couldn't finish so we took it home.

Yesterday, we met friends, Gary, EJ, and Emily, for lunch . It was first for our friends and they seem to have enjoyed their dishes.

They have lunch specials, which come with spring roll and soup. I had the Red Curry with shrimp, Dad had the Thai Fried Rice with chicken, and Hubby had the Thai Fried Rice with pork and some heat. Emily had the Pad Thai. Gary had the Pork Belly Fried Rice and EJ had the Udon with chicken. Some of us had leftovers.

Monique took good care of our group. Great fellowship and food!

Bills Mafia in San Antonio meeting for the Bills vs Jaguars playoff game!

We had the Sweet and spicy wings, roast beef sliders, and chips and queso. Everything was great and Zoe was our fantastic server.

The best part is that the Bills won! Until the next game...

We were invited to visit .schertz.no.2 for dinner tonight. Sky took good care of us, sharing the different dishes and drinks being served.

The Cupid Boil had so much food for all of us to share. It included 1lb King Crab, 1lb Snow Crab, 1lb Shrimp (no head), 1lb Crawfish, 2 Corn, 2 Potatoes, and 2 Eggs. I loved the garlic cajun sauce! It wasn’t spicy! In case you want some spice, you can request it. The Scorpion Bowl was this shareable alcoholic drink that was lit up in the middle. It is loaded with vodka, rum, tequila, gina, triple sec, orange juice, pineapple juice, and grenadine. Yum!

Lunch specials are available! Each dish comes with steamed rice (can be substituted for hibachi, cajun or fried rice for an extra $2), 3 dumplings or egg roll, and hot & sour soup or egg drop soup. We were served the orange chicken, 3 dumplings, fried rice, and egg drop soup.

One of my favorites is the Scallop Fan. It’s served on a shell with vermicelli noodles. I think I ate 4 of those tonight! We were also served the Takoyaki (my friend, Teri, loves them!), Sesame Chicken, Beef Broccoli, Fried Shrimp Basket, Combination Lomein, and Crab Rangoon.

Everything was fresh and piping hot. We just couldn’t eat fast enough!
