I haven't been shooting nearly as much as I've wanted to these days. Trying to get myself out of my rut and get back to doing the things that I love. In the meantime, here's some of my favorite shots over the years. A few weeks ago a long time friend asked me if I could do some family photos. To be honest I'm always intimidated shooting portraits because I look for different moments than your standard portrait poses, but I couldn't say no to an old friend. Adrian and Jen, thanks for putting your trust in me. It was great to finally meet Hap and spend the afternoon capturing some really special times with your family.

Every time I go to Chicago, I'm reminded of how my own city's idea of "tear it down and build new" is less than ideal. I love the stories that buildings tell, imagining the lives of the people that lived there throughout the years. Celebrations, heartaches, triumphs, and failures. Beautiful history written in beautiful architecture.
