Being submerged in a creative life as a photographer, I get to meet and work together with most inspiring people. Every new subject opens up my horizons, uplifts my spirits, and introduces new facets to this amazing world through sharing their story in front of the lens.
This photoshoot was out of this world... literally! I was excited to find out that not only I have an inspiring business woman who is a force of revolutionizing science in front of me, but a future Astronaut. (At least I am certain of that!) Women like Lauren Elsworth Cornell don't stop at anything and sky is not the limit, especially when it comes to their dreams of saving the world. She might look fragile, but in reality, she is relentless, hardworking and dedicated to her professional mission.
Besides that, she might be almost ready to go to space at this point. She was one of the NASA Analog Astronauts selected for the experiment of living in a moon simulated habitat for 45 days. The stories she shared from "life on the moon" were very insightful. In my book, she is a living legend! Wishing you great success Lauren and hope to see you crossing galactic highways in the near future.
