I started a new painting last night... 🎨

Chris worked so hard cleaning out the shed and adding flooring to make it look nice for me and it inspired me to paint! We are planning on making it my office / art space... yay! 🤗

To be honest I haven’t really been painting since the pandemic started and it’s been a struggle for me to find creativity. I love to paint. Art has been a part of my life since I was a young girl and I know how important it is to continue practicing.

After organizing my art and paints inside my new space, I pulled out an old art book that was shoved in one of my boxes. Then I picked the first picture I saw. I love the cool blue colors with the warm tones of the flowers so I can’t wait to continue working on this.🌼

I only worked on it for about 1.5 to 2 hours so we’ll see how it comes out later but I’m starting to love it already. And it’s going to rain all weekend!! 🌧
