Just exactly how this day felt. ✨

Thanking my lucky stars I get to be around this kind of magical energy and all the marvelous women and their long awaited babies that never cease to amaze me.

I just love making these photographs that you can circle back to and revisit your stories and see yourself with a little more understanding and awe. A little more love.

When I work with mothers and their babies I absolutely fall in love with the feelings between them, their affection, the bond between them and of course all the new baby smells and I get to carry that softness with me through my whole week.
Grateful to simply be documenting a fleeting season of motherhood. I am in awe every time.

There will never be enough chances for me to support women and in a small way, seeing mothers through my camera fills that need for me. A few favorites of Sam and her little loves on film.

Looking through these I hope that little girl sees these and thinks something along the lines of “Goodness, we really did love each other didn’t we?”

Reliving the feelings of taking in all this beauty for the first time.

There were lots of reasons not to go on this trip but I had a feeling I needed to. Always learning again and again that nature and listening to my own guidance really is the way.

I carried a little Contax G1 around to hike Torres Del Paine and I was pleasantly impressed with it for how small it is. Just shot a roll but we made them count.

Anytime I’ve put myself in places with other women who are brave, ambitious and creative it has felt like those experiences were little doors into something new for me.

It’s truly been such a pleasure to be able to create experiences just like this for other women through workshops or travel retreats. Seeking growth, cultivating beauty and creating art and connection as a means to tell stories and truth and bring families closer. To bring women together and to help them see truer, more vibrant versions of themselves.

A few favorite frames of Sammie and her sweet family that we captured on film that I’m so honored to have captured at my last workshop.

Thank you to all the women who came and trusted me with their time and presence. Nothing brings more ambient energy than a room full of authentic, joyful women and I absolutely felt that.

No where to be but here. The quietest days of the year are just around the corner. Trying my hardest to slow down the spin of our own little world and soak up these days.

The most thoughtful, joyful presence surrounded these two and it reached every corner of their home.
