Panaca Nevada Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

This adobe meetinghouse was built in 1867-1868. Originally used as chapel, schoolhouse, and recreation hall. It would later serve as bishop’s storehouse.

In 1940, an adjacent meetinghouse was remodeled from the town hall. That 1940 meetinghouse was demolished and a modern chapel (used today) was built in 1972.

The 1868 chapel is still owned by the Church and is preserved as a historic site.

The current meetinghouse houses the Meadow Valley Ward, Pioneer Ward, and the Panaca Spring Ward.
