This is not a good bye but a see you soon.
In celebration of Cai Captures’s first anniversary, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one who has been so supportive throughout this whole photography journey. Thank you so much for believing in me and trusting my skills and artistic judgements, as well as sharing your knowledge, thoughts, and kind words.
To every clients I’ve had throughout the year, thank you for your never ending support. Despite the lack of professional equipments during shoot, you guys never made me feel less of a photographer. Instead, you encouraged me to do more and to bring out the best in me. By that, I’ve learned to be more resourceful, innovative, and creative. To all the friends I’ve made along the way, thank you for sharing good memories with me and for allowing me to immortalize your art.
I would also like to extend my gratitude to Kyle/Leofric Wulfram and Christine Mae Aguas who have been the most helpful throughout this whole journey. They provided me the most essential equipment a photographer should have— their camera. For some people, it is not easy to lend something so valuable, especially if you work so hard to acquire it. But for these two, they put their whole trust in me and allow me to use their most valuable possession without hesitation. I will forever be grateful for this generosity; if it weren’t for your help, Cai Captures wouldn’t be celebrating its first anniversary.
However, every good thing must come to an end, yet every end becomes a new beginning. To give way to my future endeavors, I have decided to not continue Cai Captures which includes all my photography services in and outside conventions. This is a bit sad for me but to make it less sad, take this as an indefinite hiatus. All the stories we’ve told, memories we’ve had, and photos we’ve taken will remain. And for that, here are some highlights of this journey taken by friends. It needed feels nice to see yourself from other people perspective.
From my point of view to yours,
Etsuko
