**"Let's Meet" — No Pressure, Just Coffee (or Zoom) and Chat**

Thinking about booking a wedding photographer but not sure where to start? Same. Most couples tell me they feel overwhelmed by portfolios, packages, and trying to figure out if someone "gets" them.

So here's what I do: **a free 15-minute "Let's Meet" call.** No sales pitch. No awkward "so what's your budget?" interrogation. Just two people talking about your day, what matters to you, and whether I'm the right fit.

**What actually happens on the call:**
- You tell me about your wedding (or elopement, or redo, or whatever you're planning)
- I answer your questions about timing, coverage, and what working with me looks like
- We figure out if we're a good match. If not, I usually know someone who is.

**What doesn't happen:**
- Pressure to book on the spot
- Hidden fees or upsells
- Me talking about myself for 15 minutes

Ten years in. Still got it. 🌊✨
Shot this stunning bride & her husband’s 10-year anniversary at the Bahia Resort Hotel in Mission Bay and this place is exactly as good as it looks. Water on three sides, golden hour off the bay, tropical gardens — it’s one of San Diego’s most underrated photography locations and I will die on that hill.
A decade of marriage deserves more than a dinner reservation. It deserves photos that actually look like you — not stiff, not forced, just real.

Some locations just have everything. That thing where the light hits different, the water adds depth you didn't plan for, and the couple in front of your lens feels completely at ease — like the environment is holding them instead of competing with them.

The Bahia Resort Hotel in Mission Bay is one of those locations.

I recently had the privilege of photographing roshni and her husband at the Bahia for their 10-year wedding anniversary. A decade in. And honestly? They looked like they were still in the middle of the best day of their lives. That's the kind of session that reminds you why you picked up a camera in the first place.

Some couples show up with a venue. These two showed up with a vibe.
Gazebo ceremony, perfectly manicured grounds, and then — light sabers for the reception entrance because why not. This day had so much personality and it was genuinely a joy to document.

One of my first engagement sessions — and we did it in front of a 156-year-old tall ship.

The Star of India doesn’t let you take a bad photo. The rigging, the weathered wood, the way the harbor light hits the hull — it just works. But honestly, what made this session was them. They were relaxed, they were themselves, and the ship just happened to be there.

That’s what an engagement session is supposed to do. Not pose you in front of something pretty. Get you comfortable with each other and the camera before the wedding day, so when it counts, you’re already ready.
