Why have I been so quiet lately? Well, besides a lovely trip to Japan (photos soon!), I’ve been hard at work on a brand new website. I love designing websites, almost as much as wedding albums. The last time I saw this sweet couple was when I photographed their wedding at the . Recently, while on a family vacation, I got to meet up with them again for family portraits on the beach. I don’t think I could love a full-circle moment in my business any more than this 💕

It’s a long winding drive to the top of Golf Course Drive in La Jolla. Past many incredible homes lining the way, but at the top, we find this stunner. Views for miles and an interior that could be described like if the Uffizi Gallery and Graceland had a casual, low-key baby. I am the ultimate snoop when it comes to houses, so it was a definite highlight. Congratulations to .haven & AJ and the whole creative team for this wonderful evening.

Not sure what it is about the rolling hills with stunning oak trees dotting the landscape that I find so dreamy. But every time, no matter the season, I never want to leave.

For years I was lucky to visit. With a good friend and a coveted key to her mom’s house, we would hike in the hills of Santa Ynez and surrounding towns at dawn. Hopefully in the fog. Just so so gorgeous. Some Saturday reminiscing and a cute engagement session for your entertainment 💕
