Spark Studio Soundstage to Host February FilmNet San Diego Meetup
San Diego, CA (For Release) - Spark Studio Soundstage will host the February 2026 Filmmakers Network (FilmNet) San Diego Meetup on Tuesday, February 10, featuring a panel on Women in the Film and TV Industry hosted by Jodi Cilley of Film Consortium San Diego. The evening will kick off with a red carpet and photo station presented by Tomy Amat and R3 Productions and tours of the facility. Host David Kamatoy will present a Spark Super Networking session to help local film professionals connect with the people they need to meet. The red carpet starts at 5:00 pm, the tour of the studio facilities is at 5:30, and the meeting begins at 6:00. Spark Studio Soundstage is located at 8283 Ronson Rd. in San Diego.
The Women in the Film and TV Industry panel will feature five women who have contributed to the success of projects in San Diego. Host Jodi Cilley is a five-time Emmy®-nominated producer, filmmaker, entrepreneur, educator, and founder of Film Consortium San Diego. She will be joined by casting director, actor, and award-winning producer Camie Carpenter; 48-Hour San Diego city producer Chrissy Raven Kilna; screenwriter and filmmaker Shelley Jesso; actress Lynn Allinger; and actress, TV host, and storyteller Gina Trotto.
Located on the campus of the former XETV6 television station, Spark Studio Soundstage is a film and television studio complex that features a 3000 sq. ft. double walled soundstage that includes a 12' x 12' Chroma Key Cyclorama. Spark Studio Soundstage has been the filming site of several local and national productions, including a future feature film, large-budget marketing projects, and music videos. Producers Leo Kats and David Kamatoy of Spark Studio Soundstage are excited to add the FilmNet San Diego Meetup to their roster of events.
Filmmakers Network San Diego (FilmNet) is a nexus of film-related Meetup groups, including writing, filmmaking, acting, comedy, songwriting, modeling and photography meetups. The organization hosts events to support local producers, creators, actors, crew and film professionals in their effort to assemble teams and develop content and marketing opportunities. These center around the group’s monthly meetup held on the second Tuesday of each month.
