Tayler has always been someone I connect with on creativity and writing. Tayler’s company, Awakened Rose, has such gorgeous unique pieces and I’ve loved seeing all of her collections launch over the years. I am so grateful that I got to be a part of her first launch in 2015!

If you know me, you know how much I LOVE reading — I have always found such solace, hope, and joy in books. Avid Reader is my absolute favorite independent bookseller… and it’s owned by my dear friend and her husband Brett. She’s a mentor, a big sister, a writer, and a travel expert.





We’ve all heard the heartbreaking stories of local businesses having to close this year, and I’m really encouraged by companies who are banding together in support of small business. For every $15 you spend at ANY independent bookseller, you get audiobook credit with . WORTH. IT.

Erin and Brett also own a toy store that’s literally stepping into a Hallmark movie. 🥰🥳 If you’re shopping for any books or toys, order them thru Avid. They just updated their website too this week with brand new inventory. My favorite part is reading about the staff picks, two of which were my favorite books of 2020.

I feel so grateful to be a small business and I’ve loved photographing other small businesses that I really believe in. This is such a critical time to support local if you have the means. Every day this week I’ll be sharing a company that I love. 💛

First up is ROWDY. I’m in awe of this women owned business, founded by my dear friend + her business partner . .official is the most fun dance workout I’ve ever tried... and they have a little something for everyone. ROWDY Power features a ton of weight lifting and HIIT, and they’ve just launched ROWDY Kids for kid friendly workouts.

ROWDY’s instructors are called Party Starters and they’re all SO fun. You can sign up for a free 10-day trial to see all of the archived + new workouts. I’m obsessed. I love taking virtual classes with friends and getting out of my head. When I move my body, my mind changes. Sooo grateful for ROWDY making a workout class feel like a fun night of dancing + escaping the craziness of this year. 💛
