Sorrento fire aftermath 🧯🔥

On June 8, 2026 the fast-moving Sorrento Fire burned 90 acres near Sorrento Valley Boulevard and Ocean Air Drive, forcing over 2,200 home and business evacuations. This included my own home.

A massive thank you to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department and Cal Fire crews for their aggressive response that kept our community safe with zero injuries. THANK YOU SDFD!

🛑CRITICAL SAFETY NOTE: Never fly a drone during an active wildfire. Doing so immediately grounds firefighting aircraft and puts lives at risk. These aerial shots were strictly captured after the fact, days after the fire was 100% contained and all flight restrictions were lifted.
