This week's print is this untitled image. I spend the majority of my life in just a few places—my home, my office, the route I take for my morning runs—so it's important to me to try to find moments of beauty or at least things that are unexpected. This presented itself to me last week on my way to the water cooler, on a workday afternoon. There's always something, if you're open to looking.

This week's print is "BW #47," an image from my series "Caesura." Every morning when I go to work, I make myself a nice cup of tea, which is a pause and a moment of peace and reflection before I get on with my work day. Over the course of about two years, I photographed the residue inside my cup before washing it out and starting over, so this series is a measure of time.

This week for I have this untitled print, shot at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk in 2013. I have a lot of fond memories of the Boardwalk from when I was a kid, and I believe this image is from the first trip we took there with our own children. It was a pretty fun day.

This week's print is "December 21 (Honestly, I Still Don't Really See the Point)" from my "Sheets: A Love Letter" series. I made this image one morning as I was making our bed, something I do as a way of saying "I love you" to my wife. I was struck by the way the light hit our sheets, and how what I saw was evidence of the time we'd just spent next to each other.

This week's print is "Circa 1994 Toyota Camry." As you might know, whenever I go for a morning run in my neighborhood, I challenge myself to make a new image afterwards, the idea being to find new ways of looking at extremely familiar spaces. This one was shot a couple of weeks ago, a little bit of texture in the paint of a car that I haven't seen since.
