New image is up on my site. This image was shot in the middle of the Pacific Ocean somewhere between Hawaii and California. When Covid started I had the chance to jump on sailboat and sail to Hawaii with a crew of 4 on a 36ft 60-year-old boat without autopilot. A 30-40 knot line squall came in the before so we had rip down our sails as fast as possible cut a few lines. It was pretty much life and death. I woke up in morning after the chaos and this was my view. We did 2-hour watches for 24 hours straight for 23 days. I grabbed by good Camera as fast as could without getting bucked off the deck or getting my camera salty and soaking wet, and I am grateful I did. This image is called THE ESCAPE. It is a just a friendly reminder that after every storm beauty and bliss will always prevail. 🙌🏼⛵️🌈
