Jump out and Jump in.
This puma cub has great personality, high energy. I never tire to watch her play and interact with her mom and sibling. Puma cub only has 50% chance to survive in nature. Wish her has bright future and bring us more nature’s 🎁.

We were with this cub, and her mother and sibling for awhile, watching them relax and play,but out of nowhere, she suddenly jumped out and ran through the snow, in no time, she seemed catch something. I looked carefully, it is a grey fox. Not sure how she managed to capture it. Nevertheless it’s a delightful surprise for us. The twist turn is, after playing with the fox for several minutes, presumably the fox was dead, the cubs gave up the fox and then left with their mother. Suddenly the fox seems back to life, stand up and walked away. Still not certain, what was happening.

If you’re only child of your parents, no siblings to play with, what do you do? Finding something else to play with. This is exactly this little burrowing owlet did. Just playing with a piece of woods around the nest, while the parents are out to find food for her. Thank you, the little one to share this playful moment with me.

Pygmy Owl
It is a surprise and delight to meet this cute pygmy owl during our Torres Del Paine National Park drive. He is small but big heart, not bothered by us at all. When snow started falling, it got better in terms of photography. Very glad he showed up for us. I have few of videos of him, will you later. This is, in fact, the 2nd Pygmy Owl whet in the park, in a different spot though.

The iPhone video was shot last year. Still vivid memories one year later. So many bears and salmon fishes. Would be nice if human and wild animals can co-exist everywhere in the world Alaska is definitely my favorite place to visit. Hope to back there soon.

Puma Cub’s first catch (or isn’t?)
Few days back we witnessed a quite dramatic event in Torres Del Paine. One of Eacarcha cub somehow caught a grey fox in front of us. But the fox is so smart, she played dead, the cubs played the “dead” fox for a while, then gave up her in the snow ground. After the puma family left, the fox jumped in live and escaped, left us in astonishment..
