A late summer evening in Rancho Santa Fe. A private golf course transformed into something out of a dream - cascading white roses, candlelight, and a reception that stretched under a canopy of stars.

These two made the trip all the way from San Francisco for their engagement session and we had one day to make it count. I scouted the location, they showed up, and somewhere between the car and the coastline - the nerves just disappeared.

None of these moments were on a “shot list.”

They just happened naturally throughout the day.

A child laying flat on the ground in the middle of family photos turning what could’ve been seen as “imperfect” into something everyone laughs about.

Another, quietly sitting during the ceremony, drawing the bride and groom from her perspective.

A hug that lingers a little longer.

I’ll always guide you when you need it - but more than anything, I’m paying attention. To you, to your people, to the way the day is naturally moving.

I approach each wedding with a focus on presence and detail — noticing the small, fleeting things just as much as the big, obvious ones.
