Long time no post, but I just wanted to take the time to say HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

So very thankful and grateful for this year.

And Happy birthday To my mom! 🥰🥰🥰

So very thankful for all the opportunities and clients I have had the chance to meet and create with. All the family and friends I’ve had the chance to spend time with.

Although photos are fun to create and post, I want to encourage all of you to see beyond. These are the memories and legacy you are creating for those to come after, a way to preserve time, because time is the only thing that you can’t take a piece off. But most importantly, a reminder to spend that time with your family, loved ones, and friends. Get off the phone 📱 for an hour to spend uninterrupted in person time with those you love most.

How time flies! I can’t believe it’s already been a week since Les Juan Ruan and Pri Rijal got engaged 🥳💍. Truthfully it felt like more of a formality since Pri has always felt like family already. Photo prompt tip, look into each other’s eyes! Sometimes you get some smoldering looks like these and sometimes you get some giggles out of it. Both of them being genuine emotions to capture. What I love about this photo is not only the intensity of the look but look at that gorgeous background they are in 🤩🤩🤩 it looks like out of a story book ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

There's something about this sweet moment that just pulls on heart strings don't you think?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

People usually ask me how do you take photos of kids or how do you make them want to be take photos. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Truthfully I don’t! I send parents a detailed instruction on how to prepare children for photos including how to explain to them what to expect and why it’s important. Then on the day of, we play! I’m not going to lie, young children are unpredictable, they don’t always do exactly what you are hoping for. However, I just go along with the kids and give them fun prompts and games to get moments like these. Even if we get something not expected, it becomes such a memorable piece and shows the personality of the family. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

You see when you start playing with kids and giving them challenges, it no longer feels like a photo shoot for them. It feels like a game and it becomes a game for the whole family. Don’t you agree?

Ok Monday, Funday! Excited as I’m planning a trip back up to NorCal! Although, I definitely identify as a very SoCal girl, Northern California has a special place in my heart. Not native to Northern California, but I’ve it has been one of the most frequented places, I’ve been to going pre-pandemic at least 4 times a year. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You see most of my family is in Northern California. They have slowly migrated from the deep southern depths of California in search of cooler weathers. Although, I’m still unsure about how I feel about cool weather most of the year, I love traveling to visit friends and family. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Walking into summer evenings with a hint of glam in your step! What I love most are the long days. You can be out and exploring the day until late into evening before it actually gets dark. Also can we talk about a black on black look for events? It makes everything feel so Hollywood glam don’t you think?

After a week filled with sweets and cake 🎂, it’s time to start getting back to that summer sculpt 😆 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Funny enough though I’m not much of a sweets person. I enjoy dark chocolate on occasions but don’t really love having sweets. My favorite sweets from cakes to pastries has got to be 85 degrees since their desserts aren’t overly sugary compared to what you normally get. I rather much prefer some savory sour treats. What about you?

Taken at Mermaid 🧜🏻‍♀️ Mountain in Malibu during one of my first photography workshop sessions when I first started 🥰. It was during this workshop that I started falling more and more in love with photography. To think that I could create visual memories like these that would pass on one day to the next generation made my heart flutter ❤️
