my soul’s safe place.

From 21 until now, you walked with us through every version of life. You were always the calm.

You loved the ocean, chasing sunsets, you loved your sister Minnie, and your mom Bryana.

You loved a treat as soon as we walked in the door from a walk. You loved to chase lizards and find gopher holes. You loved to nuzzle in hot fresh laundry and baby carrots.You loved car rides and new places. Cupcakes on your birthday & French fries.

Our whole world was you.

14 ½ years of you still wasn’t enough, because you wanted to be here. You loved being here.

Now I look for you in the sky when the sun goes down. In the wind and in the color. Butterflies & the birds. Bry says you send dragon flies and I believe it.

I hope that’s where you are. somewhere soft, somewhere warm, somewhere free.

soo this post is so out of my comfort zone but there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for my dogs as they’ve given me years of the best kind of love. We’ve had a wild past 6 months financially with my girls both having quite the full vet/emergency/surgery experience. Now Sally needs another hip surgery!
