Alex and Ally’s proposal was an honor to capture. They came all the way from Florida, picked Sunset Cliffs for the view, and walked away engaged! I watched Alex’s nerves shift into relief the second Ally said yes, and then everything softened into joy.

I’ll never get tired of photographing proposals — it’s the most human mix of nerves, love, and presence. Thank you and for trusting me to capture this memory for you 🙏

When I saw the email from Jeneva about personal branding headshots, I was ecstatic! I was familiar with her company and felt aligned with her creative vision. We chatted about her goals and bonded over our shared love for a portrait of .

For our first session, we focused on simplicity and authenticity, sophistication meets effervescence.

In 2021, I met Andria and Lake for a couples session at Sunset Cliffs. They were long distance at the time. We immediately clicked and they were so much fun to photograph.

Flash forward to 2023, they came back to San Diego for a visit and Andria reached out about another couples session. Little did she know, Lake also booked me to capture their proposal. We shot at a beach in Encinitas and in the middle of our session, Andria turned around to find Lake on one knee.

Now in 2025, they tied the knot! After their incredible wedding in Texas, they flew out to San Diego for a few days and we did a post-wedding “trash the dress” session on Coronado Beach. By the end, the dress was heavy with sand and salt water. These are those photos.

I love my job not only because I am passionate about photography, but I’ve also met the most amazing people and have had the opportunity to watch and capture momentous events and new chapters in their lives. I truly can’t imagine anything better.

Not only did I gain incredible clients but also really great friends. I am endlessly grateful for their support and kindness. Thank you .nicolee and .houston for trusting me with your memories 🫶📸

A moment that sounds like Hozier’s yell 😌

Jaclyn, Davis, and I traveled to the PNW for their proposals to one another. Jaclyn surprised Davis with a photo album full of memories through out their relationship, letters from loved ones (a STACK), a satchel from , and an engagement ring they custom designed together ().

and are two of the loveliest humans I’ve ever met and this was truly the trip of a lifetime. I am honored to capture beautiful memories for so many, especially friends. Thank you for the trust 🥹🫶

Melanie and Anthony’s courthouse elopement was beautiful, intimate, and so incredibly special 🥹

The courthouse in San Diego added floral arches to their two ceremony rooms within the past year or so - one is a heart and the other is a circle (we got to choose this time yay).

After the ceremony, we explored the grounds outside and spent time taking bride and groom portraits. Melanie was a vision in this classic and timeless dress. They were both so fun to photograph and I wish I could relive this day over and over!

Hey, I’m Mallory! I’m a photographer specializing in portraits, couples, and personal branding ✨

I capture people exactly as they are — beautiful, hilarious, real, and emotional. I value human connection and making sure you feel safe and seen in front of my lens.

Some things about me:
• I first got into photography in middle school when my mom came up with “no technology Sundays,” which thankfully did not include my point-and-shoot.
• I moved to San Diego in 2018 and it was the best decision I’ve ever made.
• I am always down to travel — Spain and Colombia are on the calendar this year!
• I’m a perfectionist, especially when it comes to my photography (I’m working on it).
• I have 11 tattoos and counting, including a portrait of my dad on my arm that strangers regularly mistake for Harrison Ford.
• My photography packages are named after my favorite sitcoms, like Seinfeld, New Girl, and Schitt’s Creek to name a few.
• I’m a vegetarian and huge animal lover. I have a dog and a cat who are my little buddies, my world, my whole heart.
• I am q***r, a feminist, and fiercely pro-human rights: Love is love, Black Lives Matter, trans rights and women’s rights are human rights, science is real, and no human is illegal.

To my core, I believe your love, identity, and weirdness deserve to be celebrated. Thank you for being here and it’s nice to meet ya 🤝

Danielle and Dan tied the knot! We walked along the beach and captured newlywed portraits so they could send a surprise announcement to loved ones that they got married! It was such a chill session with chill people. No champagne spray. No drone. Just two people who like each other A LOT 🫠
