This is what the end of photographing thousands of headshots looks like.

The lights are down.
The backdrops are packed.
And the crew is officially done.

After 3 days of photographing thousands of professional headshots for the team at Upstart, the sets are finally torn down and the only thing left is a very exhausted crew… laying on the floor and taking it all in.

Big conference jobs like this take a lot of planning, teamwork, and long days on your feet. But seeing it all come together and knowing how many people are walking away with some great headshots, makes every minute worth it.

Tired… proud… and already thinking about the next one. 📸

This empty photo station will photograph 1,000 people in the next three days.

We’re setting up our headshot station at the Upstart Lock-In Conference in Orlando, and over the next few days we’ll photograph 1,000 attendees.

Before the first person even steps in front of the camera, everything has to be dialed in — lighting, backdrop placement, camera tethering, and a workflow designed to keep things moving while still giving every attendee a professional headshot they’ll love.

Big conference jobs like this are part photography, part logistics, and part endurance. Long days, hundreds of faces, and a system that has to work flawlessly from the first person to the thousandth.

Now that the lights are set and the cameras are ready… let the headshot marathon begin. 📸
