Meet the Photographer: Heidi Joy Photography 🤍📸

Hi, friends! I’m Heidi and I’ve owned HJP since 2022! It’s been the most wonderful experience working along side my clients and telling their stories. I’m originally from Indiana, but I made a BIG move and relocated to North County, San Diego in January 2026. I have absolutely fallen in love with every thing about SoCal. The people, the weather, the BEEEACH! I’m a beach girl, that’s where you’ll find me after a long day, with a drinky drink in hand, staring at the sunset and the birds in the air.

I love documenting your stories in a way that captures your truest selves. Laughter, movement, and love are what I prioritize in your session! Get ready to chase, spin, laugh and create a fun memory at your photoshoot with me! Your session shouldn’t be boring, let’s create a fun evening together!

A beautiful day was had by all. I enjoyed the slower pace of this day so much! There was no pressure, no rush, just love all around. The reception though? Easily the rowdiest dance floor I’ve ever been on, and WOW what a good time it was!
