Katherine and Clayton’s wedding day was one of those celebrations that felt beautiful from beginning to end. They exchanged vows inside the breathtaking Immaculata Catholic Church before continuing the celebration at Rancho Bernardo Inn.

One of my favorite moments of the day was when Clayton brought out his vintage Mustang for portraits. We timed it perfectly with the setting sun, creating some incredible images with the car before wandering the grounds of Rancho Bernardo Inn for a few more quiet portraits together in that beautiful golden light.

There was something so effortless and genuine about the two of them. The way they laughed, the way they looked at each other, and how completely present they were throughout the day.

After all these years of photographing weddings, it’s couples like Katherine and Clayton who remind me why I fell in love with this work in the first place. Getting to preserve days like this, and the little moments within them, is something I’ll never take for granted.

Bri & Jimmy were married at Bri’s parents’ home in Olivenhain. Vows out front under the pepper trees, then straight to the backyard, where a checkered dance floor and everyone they love were waiting. They danced all night.

From the joyful energy of Herschel’s baraat to Nikitha’s entrance with her parents, every moment of this beautiful wedding was filled with meaning, tradition, and love.
Nikitha and Herschel honored generations of tradition through sacred rituals—praying for an auspicious beginning, exchanging garlands, sharing the symbolic sweetness and bitterness of jaggery and cumin, and taking seven sacred steps together. Along the way came showers of turmeric rice, playful wedding games, heartfelt family blessings, and plenty of laughter.
Their celebration ended beneath the open sky, where they searched for their star surrounded by those closest to them. A fitting beginning to a lifetime of finding light in one another.

These two made my job easy. From the moment we started, Katherine and Clay were laughing, being playful, and just completely themselves in front of the camera. No stiff poses, no awkward moments — just a couple genuinely enjoying each other, and it showed in every single frame.
And can we talk about that sunset? We had Coronado Beach practically to ourselves, and the sky absolutely put on a show for these two. Golden light, empty shoreline, and two people completely in love — it doesn’t get much better than that as a photographer.

Adriana & David | L’Auberge Del Mar Adriana made a choice I absolutely loved — every single bloom at this wedding was a living plant. No cut flowers, just lush greenery that felt like the ceremony and reception were held inside a garden. It was such a thoughtful, intentional touch that set the whole tone.
