✨ Exciting news: our next destination is Augusta, Georgia! ✨
We officially have orders, and while we’re wrapping up our time in San Diego, this announcement feels incredibly bittersweet. San Diego has been such a gift. We’ve loved it here so much that we were even open to staying. But as always, God’s plans are bigger than ours.
This military life has thrown us for some loops. After being told we’d be going elsewhere, then my husband being extended in his current assignment, we’ve learned to let go of normalcy and lean into God’s timing. We never expected to be planning a move during deployment and then moving over the holidays - but here we are, and we trust in His plan.
It feels like a completely new chapter awaits us! We’ll be reunited! And for the first time in our marriage, we’ll be living closer to family, back in the southeast, where it all began.
Our time in San Diego has been filled with beautiful memories and so much growth. Looking back, I can see God’s hand in every step of our journey here. He has been so, so good in this season of stretching and unknowns. Through the challenges, the ups and downs, He has been faithful and carries us through.
Here’s to the next adventure - Augusta, we can’t wait to call you home! 💛
