Last night I got to check another item off of my bucket list. There was a massive geomagnetic storm which cause the Aurora Borealis to be visible here in Arizona. It was such a wild experience to be able to see the colors and columns of light moving across the sky. Well worth at 330 am bedtime.

Started a mew job, so I’m adjusting to a new schedule. Gives me a lot of time at home, so I’ve been playing with some plant growth timelapses. Enjoy about 2 days of catnip flowers.

Here’s some quick cloud movement I got at . Clouds weren’t playing nice and we had total coverage when we arrived, so we just hung out inside checking out the super cool fossils. Suddenly I looked out and Split Mountain was just glowing. I had to stop everything and set up. Loved the rolling hills in the foreground and the back was honestly one of the coolest rock formations I’ve ever seen. Definitely recommend visiting.

Here’s a fun day to night I shot at Trapper’s Lake in Colorado. It was really nice to get out of the AZ heat and enjoy some cool clean air for a bit. Fun fact. I had a strap break on my camera bag a few months ago and though all my lenses survived, but i realized that my 14mm 2.8 is super decentered now. Right side looks like a tilt shift. Not sure I hate it too much.

Working through a ton of different footage from my trip to Colorado, but here’s a sunset from my last night in Denver. It has clouds, traffic, fireworks, traffic, and a surprise rain storm in there. The city never disappoints.
