If you've been a fan of Tim Mantoani's masterpiece, Behind Photographs or have yet to experience the beauty of 20x24 inch Polaroid prints, now is your chance to see a condensed version of the exhibit, November 5th - December 3rd at The Photographer's Eye Gallery in Escondido. Also on exhibit is the 20x24 camera that Tim used for many of the portraits. Opening night is Saturday, November 5th, 4-7pm, I'll be giving a little talk about Tim at 4 and there will be a few copies of Tim's book available for sale too.

Major bucket list check! So excited to visit Case Study House #22 , otherwise known as The Stahl House last week in the Hollywood Hills above La Angeles. Designed by Pierre Koenig and built in 1960, this house was made famous by Photographer Julius Schulman in his Black and White image shot in the evening, heavily lit and staged, the iconic image represented modern style living in California and the west. A thrill to stand in his foot steps . I highly recommend the tour, relaxed, fascinating and the best view of Los Angeles ever.
