Our ball head is lightweight, compact, and the tightening k**b is dual winged, so it is easy to loosen. We made this thing as strong as we could. Even with a heavier camera and a long lens on it, it doesn’t budge or slowly sag over time.⁠

Ok, gather round folks. Let's talk about how the SwitchPod compares to the GorillaPod and the PIXI. Both are great tripods and worthy of being in your gear bag if they make your life easier. ⠀⁠

We're not looking to solve the same problems they solve. Switchpod is meant to be lightweight, slim, easy to hold, and simple to switch between handheld and tripod mode quickly. The Gorillapod is meant to wrap around poles, tree branches, and whatever else to get the shot you otherwise can't. The PIXI is a great compact option if you don't need to be able to hold it easily or if you use a tiny point and shoot camera.⠀⁠
