HOW TO EDIT PHOTOS IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT 📸☀️

Step 1: Apply a base preset (I’m using )

Step 2: Adjust white balance & exposure

Step 3: Lower contrast for added softness

Step 4: Decrease highlights to prevent blown out look

Step 4: Increase shadows & blacks

Step 5: Increase whites to add a bit a pop back in

CAMERA SETTINGS FOR DIRECT SUNLIGHT 📸

ISO: 50-100
Aperture: f/2.0-f/2.5
Shutter Speed (adjust based on lighting): 1/5000-1/8000

PRO TIP: have your histogram displayed on your screen to make sure you aren’t clipping your highlights!!
