I don’t typically share grief posts, but I felt like sharing might help ease the pain a little.
On December 14th, our “soul pup” Primrose crossed over the rainbow bridge 🌈
The loss has been gut wrenching.
Prim was a constant in my life & beside me through countless hours of edited & all of life’s chaos.
Our house will never be the same without her.
Our granddaughter Bailey has spent the first few years of her life with Prim. Prim would wait by the door to great her on the days we had her & they were the best of buds.
There’s not a day that goes by where coming home to the absence of her, doesn’t take my breath away. The silence can be deafening.
We had 12 1/2 beautiful years and adventures with our girl and she was loved by many.
Her passing was in the midst of my busiest season & my clients were amazing!
Thank you to all of our family, friends and neighbors that reached out!
Your love was so appreciated.

I will miss you forever my GOODEST girl!
Love you so big like the sky!

Ash,
I am so proud of the woman you’ve become.
The mother you’ve become.
The friend you’ve become.

When I see the way you smile at Bailey when you’re seeing her after a long days work & she looks back at you with that same joy mirrored, it does something to my soul.

Decades from now, you will get to witness what I see.
When you see the way Bailey looks at her child & her child looks back at her.
The way you look at her now.
The way I looked at you then.
Full circle.
There’s nothing really like that feeling.

Until then, take in all the moments. Big & small.
For they add up to a life well lived.

Mr & Mrs Lopez + family ♥️
What an incredible experience to capture a love story that strangely mirrors your own.
I see pieces of my story in Angel & Tyler’s.
A story rewritten.
One where a love comes along that heals all the broken places and your family is made whole.
This wedding wasn’t just the union of two people, it was the beginning of their new story.
And then there were four.

I hope you can get a glimpse into the love this little family has for each other!
It’s quite infectious!

Music for this post was chosen before I even knew Angel was a diehard Swifty.
Fun fact: Angel spent the night before her wedding attending “The Official Release Party of a Showgirl” with her daughter Emma & two of her besties. At midnight no less. would be so proud.

To the youngest of my babies.
Where does the time go?
32 years have passed in the blink of an eye.
Each year I become more proud of the woman you’ve become.
You surround yourself with exceptional people & find joy even in the chaos.
You’ve found your person & she brings out all of your best qualities.
You love those around you while heartedly.
This has been another trip around the sun well lived.
Looking forward to seeing where this crazy life takes you & all the souls you will continue to touch.

There is something so pure about photographing a wedding.
Capturing the day as it unfolds in a way that highlights the most magical parts of a love story is a privilege.
One I am grateful for.

Having known Hallee & her family for years added an extra layer of intimacy.
We spent hours together in preparation for a day that truly happens in the blink of an eye.
